ABOUT AWG​

The Atlanta Woodturners Guild (AWG), Chapter #274 of the American Association of Woodturners, was formed to provide camaraderie and support to fellow woodturners. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the East Roswell Arts Center at 9000 Fouts Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. This site is approximately two miles west of Woodcraft of Atlanta,  off Holcomb Bridge Road.  Come join us !

Monthly meetings feature demonstrations by local, national and international woodturners, a Show and Tell session, and a monthly Raffle. For those who cannot join us in person, we also simultaneously broadcast the entire meeting via ZOOM (members will receive an invitation to the ZOOM meeting each month by email).

​

Turners of all levels are invited to attend our monthly meetings. The Guild has an extensive Library of Woodturning DVD's, books and CD's which can be checked out and examined by Members. The Guild also offers a popular Hands on Turning (HOT) program which also meets monthly -- you will spend the day learning new techniques taught by local turners. And members receive a ten percent discount at Woodcraft of Atlanta (https://www.woodcraft.com) on meeting night!
